Some of our Year 5 and 6 children helped out at a very special fundraising event during the Half Term break. Here is what Rosemary Swallow from Fight for Sight said about the girls and the event:
What stars we have. I can’t thank the children enough, from the start when given their t shirts they were all off like little rabbits asking what to do, how they could do it, and generally being so helpful in every way.
So many people commented on the sea of colour as they arrived to look at stalls. The stall holders were kept busy with requests for coffee or tea , they helped blow up balloons, putting up the banners and even helped clear up. A couple of parents stayed and were equally as helpful.
We are all so incredibly proud of the work our volunteers did and would like to extend our thanks to Rosemary and the children.
