A large number of our year 5 and 6 pupils, applied for the post of “Reader Leader” this week in school. They were shortlisted and invited to attend an interview by post.
We were so very impressed with how the children presented themselves ready for their interviews and how they answered some of the very tricky questions. They have some great ideas for how to enhance our library areas further and were really fired up with questions for us too.
It will be incredibly difficult to choose and appoint who will be successful. Children will be notified, via post this week as to whether they will be starting their new role after half term or not.
