Today, Wednesday, four Year 3 and 4 pupils went to Wrenn Academy to take part in the WAEN mini-tennis competition. After winning 3 and losing 1 match in the group stage, the team progressed to the 4th place playoff – a 3-way round robin. Each team won a match each so 4th place was decided on total points scored. Luckily, we had scored 41 points and the nearest team had scored 39. This means that we qualify for the development cup at the county finals at Moulton in July. Congratulations to Evie, Imogen, Oliver C and Travis.
